Since July, nearly six hundred Connecticut nurses, aides, and support staff have been on strike. Their employer, HealthBridge, illegally imposed a new contract without workers' agreement. The company deeply cut compensation, benefits, and working conditions.

4C's President Steve Cohen joined the Milford picket line before Thanksgiving. "I remember when my father-in-law was a resident at this nursing home and what good care you gave him. I thank you for that," Steve told West River Health Care workers. "Our union stands with you in your struggle for justice and a fair contract."
